Meet Barry Hollander
Born and raised in Southern California where I grew up in Calabasas, California and began my career in real estate & finance in 1987. My passion is working with people and helping them achieve their home ownership goals. Because I truly enjoy what I do, I never consider what I do as work.
Married to my beautiful & amazing wife and partner, Susan, who works as a Office Assistant at an elementary school in the Conejo Valley. Susan’s passion is working with children, caring for animals and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. I owe much if not all of my success to her relentless support and dedication to me and our family.
We are blessed with two wonderful teenage boys, Zachary & Benjamin. Both are honor roll students. They are both consumed with sports, friends, family, school work and of course... playing "Fortnite."
When not in the office, I like to play golf, mountain bike, go on hikes, go fishing, camping, skiing, going to the gym, playing poker and spending time with friends and family, which all keep me busy outside my other passion…. Originating and funding loans.
I started in Real Estate at the young age of 18 and ended up in the Mortgage Industry right after college. I guess you can say I got in the mortgage business because I am always seeking... “approval."
My passion is working with people and helping them achieve their home ownership goals. Because I truly enjoy what I do, I never consider what I do a job or work. It’s a calling and I make myself available weekends, evenings or Holidays because I know how important homeownership is to my clients.
